Where Fire and Water meet
Fire burns while water cools,
Fire and water annihilate each other.
Yet when they meet at your feet Sweet Mother,
They harmonise into special nuptials.
Birthing a fire of aspiration,
Moist with waters of surrender.
And self-giving becomes waters that flame.
This newborn fire soars high,
Calling down the Golden downpour,
And everywhere earth begins to blossom towards its long-awaited ‘Gold.’

When I try to journal or may be talk to myself to express the most subtle experiences after meditation or a fulfilled feeling of surrender, I run short of words to express perfectly what I went through. But this poem is so simple, yet beautifully expressed, as though sharing it with The divine Mother herself. Pranams SanjanaJi.
